ESY (Extended School Year)
The Special Education ESY program is provided as a means of addressing the needs of students with disabilities, grades Preschool through 8th grade who demonstrate regression over extended school breaks and require significant time to recoup learning. Students have access to the Unique Learning System (N2Y) curriculum that addresses grade level standards at scaffolded academic levels. Students will also participate in activities throughout the day with their General Education peers. Related services (Speech, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Adaptive Physical Education) provided per each student’s IEP (Individualized Education Plan).
Dates: July 5th - August 2nd
Time: 8:30 am - 12:00 pm
Locations: College Park Elementary & Meadow Heights Elementary
Eligibility for ESY is determined at a students’ IEP meeting
