SMFCSD Afterschool Program
One comprehensive afterschool program, serving students across the San Mateo-Foster City School District.
Our Afterschool Program brings together before- and after-school programs with The Annex and a network of community partner programs funded through California's Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P). Together, they give students academic support, enrichment, and a safe place to be after the school day.
Two Program Options
The Annex — the district's own fee-based before- and after-school program, open to families district-wide, offered at 17 sites, some AM-only, some AM and PM.
Partner Programs (ELO-P funded, free for eligible students) — Boys & Girls Club of the Peninsula, Homework Central, Newton Center, and Peninsula Bridge. These programs are funded through the state's Expanded Learning Opportunities Program and are offered at no cost, with priority given to unduplicated students: those who qualify for free or reduced-price meals, English Learners, foster youth, and students experiencing homelessness.
