ELPAC EXAMINER

The Education Services Department is looking for people to assist ELPAC (English Language
Proficiency Assessments for California) coordinators and test students. Perform related work as
required, must follow confidentiality guidelines and must complete training. Must be detailed

Job Description
The physical therapist facilitates the evaluation, identification, prevention, correction, and treatment of children within the school environment. The physical therapist addresses difficulties in gross motor performance, motor control, sensorimotor coordination, posture and balance, activities of daily living and functional mobility, and environmental adaptations and assistive devices to assist students in accessing their educational placement.

TRANSLATORS (EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT)
$25.00/hour, on call as needed
The Education Services Department is looking for people to translate written and oral communications for parents and teachers. We are looking for all languages, but are most in need of translators of Japanese, Mandarin, Portuguese and Simultaneous American Sign Language. Translators will attend meetings and parent conferences to support translation for parents. Translators also support the district and school sites with written translation of documents and report card comments. Applicants must have an extensive vocabulary in both English and their second language and follow confidentiality guidelines of the District. All applicants will be interviewed and assessed before acceptance onto the list of approved translators.
