The ELPAC helps us understand how students are developing their English skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. It gives families and schools important information about how to support each student’s language growth and progress toward reclassification.

Families can support this growth every day, even in their home language. Talking about your day, asking questions, telling stories, and encouraging your child to explain their thinking all build strong language skills.
