February 2020 Measure X Project Updates

The four projects that comprise Phase I of Measure X are now all out of the ground with one nearing completion—the new Bayside gym and locker rooms.  The other projects—the new elementary school in Foster City and the new gyms at Abbott and Borel Middle Schools—are in the stage of steel framing which will be followed by walls, roofs and interior work.  Borel's new classroom wings are ready for furniture and Abbott's two new classrooms over the locker rooms are framed with interior work underway.  

 

The pictures above speak for themselves about the progress that has been made as of February 2020 and the transformation occurring at each site.  We invite you to put your imaginary hard hats on and take a peek at the progress made to date.  

 

And, we tip our hard hats to the voters and taxpayers who have invested in providing these wonderful new facilities for the District's students.  Thanks to you, hundreds of thousands of students will enjoy these facilities over the next 30 years!
