Summer 2025 Sun Bucks

The p-EBT card program has been replaced with the SUN Bucks program that provides eligible families with $120 per school- age child to help purchase groceries during the summer months, when children may not have full access to school meals.

To qualify for the SUN Bucks program for Summer 2025, you must complete a Universal Benefit Application (UBA). Filling out this application will not impact your students' ability to receive school meals at no cost. If you participate in one of the following programs-- CalFresh, CalWorks, or Medi-Cal--or if your student is classified as foster, migrant, homeless or runaway, you do not have to fill out the application. Your student will automatically qualify for the SUN Bucks program.

The information collected on the UBA will also be used by the District to assist families who are entitled to receive additional benefits such as free bus passes, discounts on camps and cable TV, among others.

Please click on the Universal Benefit Application (UBA) paragraph below to access the application.
