Relocation of Fiesta Gardens Campus

Exciting Changes Ahead for Fiesta Gardens International School!

We are thrilled to share an important milestone in the history of Fiesta Gardens International School—our relocation and grade-level expansion are set for August 2025!

As part of this transition, Fiesta Gardens International School will be relocating from its current site at 1001 Bermuda Dr., San Mateo, CA to 715 Indian Ave., San Mateo.

This move and expansion have been a collaborative effort, engaging families, staff, and administrators in meaningful discussions. Students also contributed valuable feedback through surveys. Over the past two years, stakeholders have worked together to established the priorities as we move campuses.

Transition Meeting/Cafecitos FAQ

Ongoing Collaboration and Support

To ensure a smooth transition, there have been several support structures:

• School Site Relocation Subcommittees – Led by FGIS PTA, these subcommittees provide support through volunteer efforts and have been meeting monthly to assist with the transition.
• Partnership with Maintenance & Operations – Our Maintenance and Operations Department has been actively involved in planning the packing process, establishing timelines, and setting expectations. They have also met with staff to ensure a clear and organized transition.
• Campus Tours & Preparation – The construction team has facilitated campus tours for both teachers and community members. Additionally, they have provided classroom layouts to help staff and teachers become familiar with their new spaces.
• Community Engagement Through “Cafecitos” (Coffee Chats) – School leadership has been hosting monthly Cafecitos, inviting parents and community members to morning conversations with school and district administrators. These meetings offer an opportunity to stay informed, ask questions, and engage in open dialogue about the relocation.

We are excited for this next chapter and grateful for the dedication of our families, staff, and community. Together, we are building a strong foundation for success and growth at Fiesta Gardens International School!
