Project Overview

The existing podium at Beresford does not meet the specific requirements of the school. They are seeking a new standard podium with the following features:

Wheels: For easy mobility and repositioning within different areas.
Adjustable Angling: To allow for customized viewing and reading angles.
Microphone Stand: Integrated to support audio presentations.
Shelving: For additional storage and organization of materials.
Dark Wood Finish: To ensure a professional and elegant appearance.

This new podium will enhance functionality and versatility, aligning with the school's needs for various events and presentations.

Regular podium size - exact dimensions are left to Scout's discretion

Materials

The podium must be constructed out of wood

Safety Concerns

Utilization of saws and other sharp instruments
Utilization of power tools, including power drills
Exposure to fumes from oil-based paints, wood varnishes, and wood sealers

Desired Construction Time

Construction can take place at any time off-campus. Any on-campus setup is preferable to occur when school is not in session, such as after school, weekends, or school breaks.

Financial Aid

Depends if there are sufficient school funds for the year
